Workshop Controller / Production Manager

Role: Workshop Controller / Production Manager - Marine Industry
Location: Norfolk Broads
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 
Pay: In region of £30,000 depending upon experience
We are looking for a Workshop Controller / Production Manager to join our Client's Yacht Repair team in Brundall, Norfolk. 

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to effectively manage the efficiency of the Marine Engineers / Technicians, booking in work and allocating tasks, as well as general administrative & customer service duties to keep the department running, such as:

Stock control;
Booking in work (from sales department and private customers);
Preparing quotes and invoices;
Taking payments;
Overseeing Health & Safety;
Updating customers regarding the progress of work.

The Requirements:

Strong administrative skills;
Effective communication skills - in person and via telephone / email;
Able to juggle a busy workload;
Able to work as part of a team in a friendly, good-natured workplace;
Knowledge of Health & Safety is beneficial;
Knowledge of boats and mechanics would be highly beneficial.
